So all of my letters have been received by AMCAS. Furthermore, I have already delegated which schools will receive which letters (again, through AMCAS). My question is, do I have to do anything else to specifically get the letters sent to the schools? For example, I have already submitted my secondary to Yale, but they have not received my letters of recommendation. I was verified in early July, but my letters were received back in June. Do I need to prompt AMCAS to send the letters to Yale, or will this all be done automatically?

The consensus here seems to be that we don't know. However, resubmitting your application won't hurt anything. When AMCAS got my letters and I noticed that schools weren't downloading them, I resubmitted and a school downloaded them the next morning. I'm thinking a resubmission send a notification to the school so that they know they are there. Otherwise, the school may just have to check your app on their own to see if the letters are there.

Ah, I didnt know I could resubmit my application. Why is that feature available? I thought after the initial submission one is not able to alter anything in the primary application? Thanks, I will give it a go.

After you submit, you can change a few things. You can change your contact info and the schools you are applying to (only add them though). I think you can add letters too. I'm not totally sure all that you can change, but yeah resubmission is definitely an option.

You don't need to do anything. Through the magic of technology they find their way to the med schools. All of mine have trafficked the internet jsut fine.
