Hey guys,

So here's the situation, I have my AMCAS ready to be submitted but one of my 3 letters of rec. won't be in for another 2 weeks. Also I don't take my MCAT until July 6th... Should I submit it right now, then can I send in the letter and MCAT score once I receive them? Is that a bad idea to send it in incomplete? But there is also a decent processing time, idk how long it typically takes in june, but I could potentially have the letter in by the time it is finished processing and is sent out...

Idk, what do you guys suggest I do?

Thanks for the time and help!

.... And I know this is the MD thread but I'm in the same senario for the AACOMAS, thoughts for that? Should I submit, then just send all 3 letters to the schools once I get them? Thanks again!

Do a search for similar threads next time.

Your letters aren't really necessary until you are submitting secondaries. They don't play a role in getting verified and the majority of schools won't look at them before sending you a secondary. As for the MCAT, you can submit your AMCAS now with just one school so that you can enter the verification process, then once your MCAT score comes in, you can add more schools as you see fit.

I don't know how AACOMAS works, so not sure if the same process applies.

It's the same process.
