Okay, in the interest of personal curiosity, let me slightly redirect your question if I may.
Why did you single out those two schools to ask about, out of the literally dozens of medical schools in the Caribbean?
Yes but why those schools in particular? Why aren't you considering one of the Big 4? Did you just pick two schools at random? All Caribbean med schools are not created equal.
the big 4 are big on expenses
titanlord 1,
It is easier getting into Caribbean schools, but any medical school is tough to get through. What are his stats? I have heard of it time and time again... get into the Big 4 schools in Caribbean schools because there have been success stories like SKIP INTRO.
Pas successes indicate that the school is not a fluke. As for success, I believe it's up to the individuals work ethics and perseverance. I'll let SDN know in 4 years. 😀Past experiences and successes are not necessarily predictive of future ones.
A lot of people start down this path ultimately only to be saddled with debt and nothing to show for it. Start with the end in mind. Know and recognize the hurdles you're going to face before you start the race... and make sure you have the ability, motivation, and perseverance to jump over them when you get there.
Caveat emptor.

Can you elaborate on this statement? From hearing from my allopathic friends, their schooling was humiliating, disorganized, and completely self-directed--school input was usually an extra barrier. You're already at the trough. We can't make you drink.
