Hi everyone,

I have a question about anaerobic respiration in eukaryotes .

Does it happen in the mitochondria or the cytosol?

I would just like to clarify.

Thank you !:)

Cytosol, Anaerobic respiration includes: Formation of lactate and the formation of ethanol. Remember that RBCs can only undergo glycolysis since they don't have a mitochondria!
