hi
2. posterior to azygous vein may b--------thoracic duct.
9. podocytes- cells of the bowmans capsulethat filter outurea and water.
3. helper T cells are 2 types Th1 and Th2 cells
Th 1--- play an imp role in CELL MEDITED IMMUNITY.TO CONTROL INTRACELLULAR PATHOGENS like virusand some bacteria.
Th2 --------play an imp role in presenting the antigen to B-cells thus playing an imp role in HUMORAL IMMUNITY.TO control extra cellular pathogens like parasites.

The superior retrodiscal lamina is an elastin fiber that attaches the disk to the temporal bone and allows the disk to stretch as it rides over the articulating surfaces during movement of the joint. There is also an inferior retrodiscal lamina made of collagen fibers which attaches the disk to the condyle and prevents the disk from slipping off the condyle.

this thread is relly useful, hope the moderator does not move to other forums

1.which is trapeful muscle?
is it medial rectus, lateral rectus, superior or inferior

can anybody explain the difference between canine guidance and group function.
In canine guidance there would not be contact of posterior teeth and the opposite ,contact of all teeth on working side would be group function. canine guidance with contact cause wearing and anything else which it can affect??
correct me if i am wrong , this is not from any illegal material hope moderators allow to clarify my doubt.
thanks in advance

Hi!
I can help you swetha.
Canine guidance is when the mandibular canine contacts maxillary canine during a latero-protrusive movement, on the working side and NO tooth contacts on non-working side. And as you stated, there is NO contact of the posterior teeth on the same side.
Now, group function reffers to 2 types of movement: protrusive movement and lateral movement. First one consist on contacts only between mandibular and maxillary anteriors, with NO contact of the posteriors. Lateral movement is that movement in which we have contacts of mandibular posteriors with their maxillary antagonists, on the working side, with NO contacts on the non-working side. Satisfied? I did all my best to help you. I don't know other theories. 🙂 If I am wrong, please someone correct me.
We learn until we die. 😎
Best of luck! :luck:

#1 is masseter.
#2, there are two sagittal sinuses. Which one do you mean?
#3 is left genioglossus, not hyoglossus. Hyoglossus is responsible for depressing the tongue, not protruding it.
#4, not sure.
#5 is flaccid paralysis of ipsilateral trapezius & sternocleidomastoid.
