From which of the following fetal vessels do the umbilical arteries arise?

B. Carotid arteries

E. Pulmonary arteries

i guess the ans is iliac areteries..wat do u think?
also can anyone tell me the diff between median and medial umbilical ligaments....wat is urachus?...😕

Umbilical arteries carry deoxygenated blood from the fetus to the placenta in the umbilical cord. There are usually two umbilical arteries present together with one umbilical vein in the cord. The umbilical arteries are actually the latter of the internal iliac arteries that supply the hind limbs with blood in the foetus.

urachus is same as median umbilical ligament
The vesico-urethral portion of the urogenital sinus absorbs the ends of the Wolffian ducts and the associated ends of the renal diverticula, and these give rise to the trigone of the bladder and part of the prostatic urethra. The remainder of the vesico-urethral portion forms the body of the bladder and part of the prostatic urethra; its apex is prolonged to the umbilicus as a narrow canal, which later is obliterated and becomes the median umbilical ligament (urachus). Note: The two medial umbilical ligaments are the obliterated umbilical arteries.

yup,i think its trachea
Posterior dislocation of the SC joint is rare. It is caused by both direct and indirect trauma, and the backward displacement of the inner end of the clavicle is extremely hazardous to the mediastinal structures, causing pressure against the trachea and great vessels.
