anatomy requirement??

Hello,

Some schools require anatomy or physiology requirement.
I took 3 credits of anatomy (they are seminars under Anatomy) and got my grades.
When schools require 3 credits of anatomy, does that mean it has to be human anatomy class or can it be some class that offered by anatomy department?

You should probably double check with the schools that you are interested in because some have tricky requirements. For example UNLV requires Human Anatomy and even if you took a course labeled "Anatomy & Physiology" such as I did, they will make you take a course that specifically says "Human Anatomy". They could change this in the future but they had it in bold during the interview and people asked questions about it and they made it clear that they wanted another class titled Human Anatomy before you matriculate.

I see.. What about English? Do you think that some class like creating writing will be counted as English class? The class is offered by English Department.

Again, depends on the school. They will most likely ask you for the syllabus for the class to determine whether it fits their requirement. Half the headache that comes from applying is figuring out exactly which schools you qualify for.

Yeah I've been calling schools like crazy in the past few days and realized that I can't apply some schools due to the pre-req 🙁

You can complete the pre-regs after your AADSAS application is submitted during the following Fall and Spring semesters. As long as you complete the pre-regs before you matriculate, you will be fine.

True. I just need to plan ahead what courses I need to take..... I guess I take it back by saying I can't apply. It is just some school requires tons of requirements for classes.
