Ok so with AIS, you have female external genitalia. Obviously you don't have internal female genitalia bc you have testes which secrete MIF. Now my question is, do you have internal male structures since you are producing androgens from leydig cells to form the Wollfian duct (its just that the receptors don't work)? I don't know if thats important or not. Thanks in advance!

you don't develop internal male genitalia because testosterone is not acting at the receptors in the embrionic period, so I think you don't develop male internal genitalia.

You are a sterile male with all the plumbing of a female. Without testosterone receptors, DHT can not act anywhere and you default to the female phenotype.
