Anesthesia rotations in Clinical Base Year

hey y'all,

i was wondering if it was o.k. to do 2 months of anesthesia rotations in the clinical base year (i.e. PGY-1). Has anyone had a problem with this and their program? Some have told me there is an ACGME rule that states that you can do no more than one anesthesia rotation in your PGY-1 year. Has anyone ever heard of this rule? And if there is such a rule, will this be a problem? Maybe UTSouthwestern or someone else can help me with this question.

One month is the max in the clinical base year. It;s on the ABA web site.
