If you plan on taking a course post-graduation, at another institution, should you include that in your course work and mark it as "current/future"?? I initially did this but as I went to the transcript request section realized that it would be ridiculous to request a transcript from a school that I have yet to enroll in....
I am thinking I might just leave it out, but this course I am going to take is one of the premed requirements (biology with lab). I feel like it needs to be stated that I am taking this course, but a transcript will be impossible to get at this moment in time. What should I do?!?! (And please dont tell me I should have taken it before I graduated. I have already beat myself up for that stupid mistake.)
Thanks for any feedback y'all.

whoa, chill, you'll be fine leaving it off AMCAS - Most schools don't require you have the prereqs done until you matriculate, you could just include a letter specifying when and where you intend to take the prereqs you lack when you send in your secondaries

i think you should list the courses as current/future. Why would they ask you to submit a transcript for courses you have yet to take...they don't.

Well, when you indicate that you took such'n'such a class at such'n'such a school in the course work section, in the transcript request section, you have to say whether or not amcas requires a transcript at that school (which in 9 times out of 10, they do). So, it would be hard to get a request for a transcript for a future class you plan to take at a school you haven't enrolled in yet. I think that may be the dilemma.

I would leave them off for now. (This is advice that I got from an adcom.) You can call the schools and let them know or include this information in your secondary or at your interview. You don't want your application to get stuck because you can't get a transcript from a school because you haven't regestered/started classes yet.

I was told that, for future enrollments, when it asks if AMCAS requires a transcript, the answer is no, because AMCAS does not require a transcript to verify courses that you have not taken yet. For example, I am finishing up my physics labs this summer. However, I am submitting my AMCAS today, therefore they will not have the courses on my transcript and that is ok. Also, this fall I am doing the post-bacc program at LECOM. I listed the courses and the school so that the ADCOMS will see what I am doing during the glide year, and also to see that I am taking some hard-core sciences to prep more for MS1. I was under the impression that on my AMCAS app, I list the school and the couses at future emrollment, and then when it askes if ALCAS requires a transcript, I answer NO because I have not enrolled, don't have a transcipt, and the courses will not be taken until after processing. Am I wrong??

I had current/future classes on my AMCAS last year.
I didn't send a transcript from that school.
No delay in processing.
