Hate seeing labs sell out to labcorp or quest. Wish labs would realize that quest/labcorp wouldnt grow if they didnt acquire new labs. But they love to overpay and its hard to resist that money.

Like I said before, I think it's all about game theory. While it'd be better for the industry as a whole for groups not to sell their practices to the big boys, for any given lab it's usually the right decision to sell.

Correct, why wouldn't senior partners who are nearing retirement anyway take a windfall of a couple million dollars??? That will buy some nice country club memberships for your golden years...
