Sorry, I know there have been many threads regarding LOR's and I looked up a couple of recent ones, but the problem is I don't think I necessarily found the answer to my question 😳

So anyways, my ERAS has already been submitted without any of my letters. Apparently 2 of my letters came in to my Dean's office last week and one was submitted a while back. I have already asked that older one to be scanned in, but the new ones just came in at the end of last week.

So here is my question: When I ask a letter to be uploaded to ERAS it means it will just be uploaded and THEN I have to go assign it to any of the programs that I want, correct? In other words a new uploaded letter is not available for the programs to immediately look at until I go to the program's section and select the letter and hit Save, am I correct?

Thank you for your help...

...I was going to write a biting response about common sense and the need to read the myeras manual- but the quick answer= yes.

1) You need to be sure you have made slots for your letters or your office will not upload them.

2) Once your slots are made you can go ahead and assign your blank slots to programs, they will automatically be sent once they are uploaded by your office.
