Quick question! One of my preceptors offered to write me a LOR like 3 weeks ago but it hasn't been turned in yet. What would be the most polite way to go about reminding her that I need it soon so I can submit my application when ERAS opens!!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thank you!

uh...

talk to your preceptor. You realize that your LORs do NOT have to be in on the same day as your application.

You can submit your application without the letters.

I would call or stop by the office and ask them, politely and sweetly of course, if there is anything they need to finish your letter. If you didn't give them a copy of your PS when you asked, you could stop by with that as a gentle reminder saying, "I thought this would help."

I'd get the point and not feel too put out about it, but also as noted above, the letters do not need to be in to apply. 3 weeks is not a horrendous amount of time to get a letter.
