I have only 2 confirmed letter writers so far, but plan on getting a 3rd letter. On ERAS, I have reserved slots for the 2 writers. I am now adding programs and want to apply today, if I apply to programs with only those 2 slots reserved can I add a 3rd once I get it? Or am I stuck with 2? Should I create a 3rd slot before I apply even though I don't have a 3rd writer?

Doesn't matter. You can create a 3rd slot anytime, get the letter uploaded, and send to any program where you have applied.
