just got the letter from Case saying I suck......this new year sucks man......4 rejections and zero interviews....i am giving up man....i hate life.....

dude, don't give up YET! we are only 1 day into 2002. screw case western. we will get an interview somewhere, even if it is in april! i am still in your boat too...

Yeah man,

Dont give up yet. I am still here with no interviews on Jan 1st. But I still have hope, and so should u. Most schools interview till march and with all this amcas crap going on we arent too behind in the game. Just have more faith.

ps- for everyone who hasnt gotten interviews and wouldnt mind sharing, what are ur stats, ur ECs and Clinical experiences??

me-- 3.5, 26 MCAT (took it twice, i know its sad), lots of ECs and leadership, and lots of clinical experiences
why don't I have an interview? My pre-health committe didnt send my letters till the end of Nov. so my apps didnt get completed till just now, and probably my MCATs!! I hate that test!

Hey parul,

It's not sad! Some people just don't do well on that damn test. I took it twice only to get a 25 both times. Then I was really mad and took it a third time and bumped up 5. If you think you can do better then take it again... but from the sounds of your email, I have a feeling you wont have to...Happy new year I have my fingers crossed for you! 🙂
