Sorry, your GPA is simply way too low for anywhere in Texas, including my school and UTRGV. MCAT is fairly low as well but isn't as big an issue for Texas schools.

I think you should look into a one or two-year grad program like the Medical Science Program at UNTHSC or the one at Texas Tech. If you do well in these, you have a great shot at some of the MD schools and TCOM.

Your GPA is great for AACOMAS so if you wish to apply this cycle, that's also another option.

I figured this would be true. I definitely do not have the money to waste on a grad program :/ Since there is no repairing my GPA, I guess I'll apply DO only. I was told that if I scored high enough on a retake (508+), that I would have a chance. I guess that's not true.
