cos @/1+sin@ + 1+sin@/cos@=?

@=theta
i think the asnwer is 2/cos @. anyone have an explanation?

I got the same answer, simple addition and reducing gives me that. :luck:

cos @/1+sin@ + 1+sin@/cos@

=[ cos^2 @ + (1+sin@)^2 ] / (1+sin@)cos@ <--- juss made into common denominator

=[cos^2 @ + 1 + 2sin@ + sin^2 @ ]/ (1+sin@)cos@

=[2 + 2sin@] / (1+sin@)cos @ <--- since sin^2@ + cos^2@ = 1, i juss added 1 from the top

= 2(1 + sin@) / (1+sin@)cos@

= 2/cos@

i hope this won't be on dat tho...

I had something along these lines, it really doesn't take long to do it, but not every problem will be like that. Some take a little longer, some less.
