I realize this article is a bit dated, but is this guy just being overly pessimistic? I like the idea of podiatry but coming across things like this make me second guess myself. Take a look if you have a minute..would love to hear some more informed opinions..

This is insanely dated, like what 12 years ago? Since then a lot has been done like standard 3 year residencies. And I believe that guy did not go through residency so no-one wanted to hire him. Don't worry about him. If you really want real life experience of podiatrists, don't trust the internet and shadow a few podiatrists in your area. Ask them what they like and dislike, are they happy with their salaries, are they happy as people.

Someone posts about this site every six months or so. It's just a disgruntled pod. You'll find disgruntled everythings. Don't listen to the website. Shadow a pod, and check it out firsthand.

This gave me flashbacks to the good old 1990s, hard to believe that most websites looked like that back then.
You will find rants like this for any job, I am just surprised that angelfire still exits.
