Q. What is the major disadvantage of injecting the monoclonal antibody directly into the circulatory system instead of an inactivated form of the antigen?

A vaccine produces memory B cells that can respond to future infections. Just injecting antibodies won't have any lasting effect after they are cleared from the blood.

You don't elicit a prolonged innate immune system response. That is to say no B cells get activated to form endogenous plasma and memory cells. Eventually then injected antibodies will degrade I'd think.

I see so Antibodies made by our body via acquired immunity or active immunity i am not sure which is , not innate immunity. however when Abs injected in to our body is not making memory cells, it is only attacking the antigens so it is called passive immunity
