Anyone wanna go in on a new business idea? Start a antivax popup hospital and go where the waves are worst. Toss all the antivax pt in there, hire some prayer warriors for them, family can bring in and administer whatever crazy ass concoction they want to give (ivermectin, aerosolized hydrogen peroxide, etc) They just do it themselves and sign paperwork that the hospital is not liable for outcomes. We can hire antivax nurses, help clear out the regular hospitals. Its a win all around. Antivaxxers are surrounded by their own kind, get whatever crazy treatment they want, regular hospitals are free of these lunatics, the terrible outcomes that are sure to follow will help clear beds, and the faster admit, discharge/death time, will be a money maker.

Thoughts spurred on by yet another antivax pt who was taking ivermectin for a freakin year and whos clearly gonna die but family is wasting everyones freakin time on a daily basis and wants him transferred out because reasons.

I had another troll idea: US medical tourism. Basically go into areas where elective procedures are cancelled and recruit patients to travel and have them done in less overwhelmed parts of the country.

I had pt taking ivermectin for her cough for months because she had "COVID". She has never been tested for covid but had a local doc prescribe ivermectin for her. Finally came to the ER because she wasn't getting better. Refused covid testing because she doesn't trust PCR results based on her "research". Ranting of sorts of conspiracy theories about deep state. Finally agreed to CXR. Turns out she has lung cancer. I asked her if her vast research has any tricks to treat lung cancer........*crickets*.
