Hi All, we can relax (as much as possible) for the weekend because any acceptances from the May 2 meetings shouldn't be e-mailed until sometime next week (hopefully by Wed). For those of us still needing Genetics, there still appears to be spots for both summer sessions.

Looks like if I don't hear anything by Wednesday, I am going to have to take Calc 2 for my backup school (400 dollars! and 8:15 in the morning!).

It has been great meeting you all and I hope we will all be Longhorns finishing P1 this time next year! Congrats to UTPharmDude for doing just that!

I'm sure I'll be on here all weekend eventhough no news 'til next week 😱 .

UTPHARMDUDE HELP! Can you tell me what your typical day has been like? What is the best thing about UT? The worst? Do you know anyone in other schools that you have been able to compare UT's program with? Hardest class in P1? Hardest of all years? I was warned about UT's pharmacokinetics class, that it gets a lot of people in trouble, true? Anything you can share would be great.

Yeah my UT status is still "being reviewed"! And it's been that since December I think??? 🙁

Don't be discouraged. This school's application process is notorious for being slow and doing everything late in the game. We've all heard the horror stories about getting accepted within weeks of school starting.

I interviewed during the April interviews.

No celebrating yet. I have a psych final at 9 am and 210 pages left to read. Blech!

Don't give up hope. There are still spots left for the rest of the class. Everyone should know soon. The next meeting (probably the biggest one) will be May 22 and hopefully you'll know less than a week after that.

I cant believe its almost 8pm... Ive been on this forum pretty much all day instead of studying for genetics! So addicted. K i should go work out now 🙂 and then study.

Getting up and going to school really early everyday for three/four years is going to kill me. ( Can you do your internships at 24 hour pharmacies?) No matter how tired I am, I can't sleep until at least 2 am. One good thing about streaming video schools is that you can sleep in . But, I am a procrastinator so I probably wouldn't watch the videos until the last minute anyway. (Looking for the positive aspects of getting up early 🙂.)

Hey Catspam! I haven't made a decision yet. I really didn't expect this. I wish we had better info on what to expect at Kingsville to help me decide.

If the group I interviewed with is an example of the class, then yes, I will be the only one with gray in my hair! Your shower won't give you an adequate feel for the humidity down here, you'd do better to go find a sauna instead.

?como? what!!? they are making it harder for next year? is anyone else here not finished with a degree and is scared about next year? when i start in the fall i will have finished 84 hours--quite a bit short of my degree. is anyone else in this situation? does it make you more nervous?

No I'm from dallas so not takiing it at UT! I cant wait for the finals to be over. I'm about to start volunteering at Childrens medical center in dallas... super excited about that. (random thought)
