I go to San Antonio and yes, a few (maybe 5/93?) do not have degrees. If the school had no intention of admitting a student without a degree, they wouldn't waste both their and the student's time interviewing. UTHSCSA is not big on wasting time with respect to anything. So don't sweat it Azurelyana - if you interviewed at all 3 your chances it means you look good on paper regardless of having no degree, and that's the biggest part of it. Plus the schools will see that you interviewed at all of them when they compare lists, and that will help.
I applied the last hour of the last day and interviewed at the last interview session of all the schools and still got in in late Jan. So anyone worried about being late, there is still plenty of time left.
To those who interviewed and are still waiting on a letter, again, lots of time left. A friend of mine had already paid tuition for hygiene school when she received her admittance in May. Several students interviewed in the fall but did not get admitted till January. If I remember right, the acceptance list they posted this year for ya'lls class only had about 75 names on it. If those 75 (who likely are the same 75 admitted to the others as well) get split between the 3 schools, that leaves 68 open spots at SA alone for January. Also remember that many people reserve a spot at one school while holding out for another (including AADSAS schools, most of which have much later deadlines than TX schools), and so spots will open up in January when the schools compare enrollment lists and start calling around demanding students to commit to one (like they did to me).
Also remember that once you're in, you're in. It doesn't matter if you were #1 admitted or #93 admitted, if you have a degree or not, if you had a 4.0 (or if you enjoyed the bars a lil too much and it reflected on your grades the semester you turned 21...), or if you got a 17 or a 22 on your DAT - everyone starts from the same exact place and no one knows where you stood before that because it JUST DOESN'T MATTER. Do you know what your friends' high school GPAs were? See my point?
Best of luck to everyone, I remember how hard it is. Feel free to ask me any questions about SA (computers etc) and its differences from the other schools.
