I am also from bangalore,93 batch passed out in 1998 from kcds,yelahanka,bagalore.Nice to see this web site.Its very good source for information about dentistry here .All the posts are excellent particulalry henna,meggs,international,etc.., yes other s also doing great work.Appreciate all your efforts.

I am very new to this web site.I had 4 years expereince in Inida as a full time dentist and now here for 1 year as dental assistant.I didn't had any latest information about here dentistry untill my friend told me about this website. I wasted one year here by doing this odd job, and just blindly preparing for nbde part 1.


There is so many opertunities when i check this web.PLz any one help me up in this issue.


Though we have so much experience we cant practice here unless untill we get licence through IDP program.What i want to know is wether other post graduate programs, i mean AGED/GPR or any other programs available for us with out NBDE where we can get in to the school.IF we get that can we able to practice atleast that advanced specialty in some states?plz guide me in this.I appreciate all your help.Thanks.

Hi.i graduated from Vmsdc , salem,[ 4 hrs form BANGALORE !!
orginally a keralite !!!..but have a lot of dental frnds from B"lore !!!!! anyone from KERALa in particular & also from VMSDC..I have been to SDM Dental College, Dharwad to attend a Course there, last year FEbruary..It is a wonderful Campus..!!!!

I'm new to this thread system so please forgive me and let me know if there are any mistakes. i have given my NDBE part 1 in july 2003 and i have applied to U.Penn and boston U. i'm still waiting for a reply.as far as figures go i got 86 on part 1, 263 on TOEFl CBT and 3.53 on my GPA by ECE. I studied in mangalore but i am from Bangalore which is why i posted my message on this thread

there should be some kind of rule about not talking about members openly to other members. and trying to guess their identity. i guess if people wanted to reveal thier identity they would do it .

also there is nothing wrong in asking directly to the person rather than discussing with another member . that way everybody would be comfortable
