hey
am not from karnataka but i did my BDS in ABSMIDS...lived in m'lore for 5 yrs..some of the best days of my life i shud say...3 cheers for it all!..nice to kno ther r many out ther from karnataka...

Hmmnn...I am from Manipal...........................
Yeah....I miss red soil and hills and rains..........
I do not like the tea they make.....its like dark...whereas punjabi chai is more of milk.......I like those small glasses with the small cup....rather a katori...of all the things I miss .....I miss masalaa dosa the most.....I hated it when I was there.... 😉
Surprislingly......most of the patients at my coll were malus....so my dental kannada was not of great help.......I tried learning Malayalam...I failed to raech beyond the tongue twisting stage...... 😉

Hey there! I graduated from SDM too......After Reading yr post I feel like going back to Dharwad right now. I miss that place a lot. So you'd been there in mid 90's??? If you have'nt visited SDM after that You'll be shocked how much it has changed now. Hey did u have yr chai at the all time "tapri"!! So when are you giving yr boards? I am writing mine in a couple of weeks. Very anxious about the whole thing :scared:

Special friend eh! Don't tell me Kuri Phansi.....hahaha. And I hope you are not from Jalandhar, another city I miss a lot. Did Premedical there. Had a really good growing up nearly 2000 KM away from home!

DAV, Jalandhar. But everything about Chandigarh was beautiful. I haven't seen a city like that before! Been there twice, both the time to represent my college in intercollege competitions as part of Quiz and Debate team. Once the host was that famous girl's college, can't remember the name though. We were so awe-struck by the beauty parade that we lost, miserably, hahaha. Can you imagine DAV team losing!....lots and lots of memories......

Hmmmm...cool....either MCM DAV coll for girls or Govt. coll for girls....i.e. GCG......yeah even I have not seen anything beautiful than Chandigarh.....Oh God!!!I miss my morning walk....I loved going to the lake........Rose garden......

That's right. I was in Maxillofacial Unit and also taught in Oral surgery between 1995 and 1997.
