Whats up all???
Currently 25,,, grad student nova southeastern univ. speech path program. 4th semester 3.2 gpa. undergrad gpa 3.1
Goal: become a physician
If I decide to go into a post bacc. program
will dropping out of my previous program have an affect on my application????

I appreciate any thoughts because your input will help others???

Hello - Yes, I have found myself in a very similar situation. From what I understand, there are 2 ways that adcoms can view leaving grad school: either they'll frown upon you it(because they'll be concerned that you'll quit med school too) or they won't really care. I contacted the school I am most interested in applying to and asked how they would view leaving grad school, and to my surprise and relief, I was told that it made absolutely no difference to them. I would recommend that you do the same -- talk to and meet with admissions people at prospective schools. Good luck!
