i've been having trouble for the past couple of months with very dry eyes. It started very suddenly, and is bilateral. I have worn contacts for 16 years and since this started I can't wear them at all (even for a few hours) without my entire eyes being red and irritated the next day. I have terrible vision (-12.5 in both eyes), so I hate wearing glasses. My optometrist has been very little help. Tried Tobradex for 5 days, which didn't work, and recently tried going to a hydrogen peroxide solution, which has also been unsuccessful. Any ideas? Things that I could suggest to him? Thanks for the help.
