I was just recently informed on a program at UNM in which students can obtain a BA and an MD in only seven years. I spoke to someone in admissions, but she gave me little information. I was just wondering if someone else has ever done this and what the coursework consists of. Is it more work and longer days?? 😕 I really am interested, but not if it's going to pile too much on my plate and simply result in me failing 🙁
Any info is appreciated 😀

I think they actually cut out some of the electives so you don't actually get a bechelors degree in a real major, but it makes it so it only takes 3 years to be done with undergrad. If that's right, you probably do about the same amount of work.

UMKC has a 6-year highschool-to-MD program. You may want to check that out.

Okay,now I'm confused 😕 😕
I am two semesters away from getting my associates. Would this program even apply to me? I never thought of this before, but now that I do i don't know how long it usually takes to get your bachelor's degree. I originally thought it takes two years for your associates and two years for your bachelor's= 4 years right? 😕

Now that I have looked into it, I don't think it will matter what program I choose. Seeing all the feedback from these 7-year programs makes it unappealing to me.

Please help,
Jennifer
