Just wondering if it's even worth thinking about, checking e-mail, etc....(as if I could stop!)....or are most of the admissions offices closed.....

I got an email notification from Cornell informing me that I would be receiving a formal invitation to interview via snail mail. Some admissions offices must therefore be open, if only to send out various notifications.

Also, I thought Duke was supposed to finish screening applications last Thursday. Were they unable to meet that deadline?

i doubt they met this; notification on my site still says in screening; also, when were you complete at these places Darwin? And what kinda stats you got? Youve been doing real well for a late applicant; Im yet to get a rejection (other than nwu) but havent heard much from schools yet; was complete mid. to late nov...

After I started this thread I did get an e-mail from UPitt informing me of innovations in their curriculum (I already have an interview scheduled there). It came from the admissions office so I guess they're open in Pittsburgh...

I got an e-mail from Ohio State notifying me that tuition is going down by $10,000 for out-of-staters next year!!! 🙂

I also got an e-mail with the title of, "We'd like to extend an invitation to you." Darn it all, it was junk mail! I thought it might be from Stanford or something.
