If anyone knows of an in person MCAT study group or session near northern virginia that doesn't cost a gazillion dollars please suggest it to me. It will be much appreciated. I am gonna start studying for the MCAT soon and attend one of these classes to serve as a review before I take the exam. But from my research i only see course and sessions with 2000-3000 dollars, which i am sure are very helpful but i simply cannot afford.

There are a lot of great free resources like the Khan academy. It’s online and has videos and questions. But if you need in person try posting on a school board and maybe start a study group? Sometimes that helps. I know every once in a while there is one free class from a prep course so possibly try to cash in on that!

Whats your GPA like? What about your EFC? Some companies offer tuition discounts to students who meet certain requirements. Kaplan gives up to 60% off if your EFC is 4000 or lower. I’ve also heard that Princeton Review gives scholarships to students based on financial need, grades, etc ...

@psychgirl95 my gpa is 3.86 and my family paid for my first 2 years of community college and I live at home so they help me a lot. But for the second 2 years of university I pay my self via loans and my part time job. I’ve applied to so many scholarships but never win so I’ve basically given up lol
