Any pharmacists retesting for licenses in different states?

I JUST started to look into getting a license in a different state and it seems like I either have to retest or do the license transfer.... has anyone done either of these? any tips?

I seem to remember being told to never transfer my original state license but I cannot remember why....

I answered a few of my own questions with more in depth research....(for anyone who was wondering the answers) but I would still appreciate any and all tips, feedback, etc.
