I am looking for a post-bacc program that has a strong linkage program. I've looked around and couldn't seem to find one that would guarantee admission into the next year's class. Also, what are some good post-bacc programs for DO schools? I am doing post-bacc due to low gpa (3.0) but my mcat is 32.

I don't think any guarantee admission.

Off the top of my head, LECOM, AZCOM, and PCOM have programs that guarantee an interview if you maintain a certain post-bacc GPA. I have friends in my first-year class at LECOM who did the post-bacc at LECOM and one friend who did the program at PCOM.

Honestly if you're not in a rush it'd be better to do a few retakes or maybe even an SMP if you want MD.

The post bacc program at Edward Via COM-Virginia campus guarantees admission for those who get a 3.6gpa in the program. You are a great candidate for this program if your MCAT doesn't expire and I would apply for this program right away.

i think the lincoln osteopathic school has post back program

If you are doing a formal post-bacc, you may as well do a SMP to try for MD.

I would look into Toledo's smp, it's not a guaranteed spot but usually 38-42 of 50 canidates get into the medical school after completion... Your 32 MCAT gives you a great chance.

I think OUHCOM has a 1-year post-bac program for those who applied, received and attended the interview, and has been denied admission for OUHCOM. This is a linked, guaranteed spot to the DO program if you are in this post-bac, but I think they only give these opp to underrepresented minority students.

If you are at all interested in DO, I know Drexel in Philly had guaranteed admission of you meet there requirements.

SMP all the way. Your MCAT is great, fix the GPA and you're golden. In the meantime research MD/DO schools, find which stand out to you, apply, have choices. ..This is what I would do, in the end follow your gut :horns:

Nsucom has one I believe. 90 auto in and don't repeat first year. 80 and you repeat first year.
