I was wondering if any PT's who practice in the Northeast's region could tell me about the reputation of this program and/or students from the program? I'm a little worried about the lack of clinical experience (~36 weeks) compared to other schools. Thanks!!

I should also add, it looks really good on paper and I really enjoyed my experience at the interview and felt I would be a good fit there. But I was just curious as to the reputation of the school as I'm not from the area.

36 weeks sounds like a normal amount of time for clinical experience. My school has 3 full time rotations 3rd year, each being 12 weeks.

My school will have 39.5 weeks. There aren't very many schools that have more than 40. I'd say 36 is right about the average.

Nice that makes me feel better.. But I've noticed that other schools have some type of clinical experience built in the first two years before they send u off to full time clinicals, so I'm a little worried about not having that exposure before starting my clinicals.

my school had no long term clinicals first two years ( we would spend 1 day in clinic once every few weeks) all of our long term are after we finish all of our classes. this can be an advantage in that once you do go to clinic, you would have essentially been taught just about everything. also its nice knowing once you are in clinic that you dont have any classes left.
