Is there any reason to hold on to my old TPRH and EK Mcat books after being accepted to my first choice? Would they help at all for first year med school?

I'm really looking forward to being able to sell them to help with buying a new laptop. How much did y'all sell your books for if you did? I'm wondering if its reasonable to get about 500 for everything.

Sell them all. Set yourself up with an Amazon seller's account. You might try SDN's classifieds, especially if you have a complete set of anything.

I use mine a toliet tissue....cover and all...

I sold mine for 150. I had all of the ExamKracker series (1001 questions + books). I bought them for 200-250.What else did you buy that you can sell for 500?

Why sell when you can burn?

Keep them if you want to tutor for beau coup bucks. Otherwise, no real point, esp. if you still have your chem book.

Are you going to need your chem book in med school?

Why doesn't OP just price search on the "For Sale & Wanted" section of SDN? Then no matter where they're sold, they'll know what the books usually go for.

It could be illegal to sell them. I have an extra set of Kaplan review material I could sell unused but I think it's illegal

That feel when you spent no money on MCAT prep

You should sell them soon rather than later too, since with the new MCAT coming out the old ones might become outdated.

Sell it, bro.

Sold em all last week. Had the Princeton and Kaplan sets, sold them for $150 total. Pretty cheap but I wanted them out of the my house ASAP.

Totally forgot about selling my books. I'm guessing people just sold them through Amazon? Is it relatively easy? I've got all the Kaplan books, books from SN2's guide, and a bunch of random LSAT books just taking up space in my closet.

I plan to keep mine on the bookshelf in my future office
