Any recent U of Chicago acceptances??

Hi, I interviewed at U of Chicago on dec 9th and they told us we'd hear back within 5-7 weeks so i was just wondering if anyone who interviewed around that time had heard anything either way, a hold or an acceptance? i know a hold or rejection is via snail mail and an acceptance is via a phone call. do they always call around the same time of day? One of my two interviews there went pretty badly, my worst by far, so i'm not expecting good news but hey, who knows.

But I saw your stats and they are beyond impressive. I have no doubt that you will be accepted, so stop worrying.

Haha, thanks! I hope you are right. You never know though, especially with U of Chicago. They pre-interview rejected a lot of seemingly very qualified folks here on SDN and md applicants. Its hard to know exactly what they are looking for.

I hope we both hear some good news from them soon!
