Any second time test takers?

Hi, all, I am pretty new here...

I wonder for sections excluding CARS, which have 59 question, what kind of stand-alone question would be looking like?

Any ideas? Especially answers from those second time test takers?

The stand alone questions are completely random from my own experience. No way to predict what you'll get, best to just study content and practice questions

The discrete stand alone questions might pose a scenario and ask about something, but are generally straight fact recall questions. You may also see some passage based questions that are "pseudo-discretes" as they can be answered using background knowledge and require little, if any, information from the passage. I believe about 1/4 of the exam would fall under the category of fact recall, which is in the official MCAT guide text, under one of the general categories (maybe skill 1? it has been awhile since I looked at it).
