I'm a sadarni 😎 , from Vancouver, living and studying in South India. My family, whats left, stays in Jalandhar and Hoshapur(sp?). I miss the villages man! I want aloo parantha with GHEE, and saag. 😀 Here in the south they think palak is what saag is supposed to be. That and any guy here who grows a beard and wears a turban will open up a punjabi restaurant, even though they are SOUTH INDIAN!! 😡 Its ok, I know. Anyways, I'm going for NDBE part 1 in July. Anyone got any helpful hints or tips??

hi!there...r u still studying in south india....and which college ur studying...i also studied from south india and passed in 2004....for ur NBDE-1 u should must read dental decks thorughly....it will definately help u...if u haven't studied them....get them and study...

Anyways theres this new punjabi movie called Kambdi Kalai seems real nice. Haven't checked it out myself but 'll do it soon.
You know when i was in Punjab i never used to listen to Punjabi songs much but since the time i am here i never miss Des Pardes & love watching all punjabi songs ( though not all are good 🙂 ) . In the newbies Sukhshinder Shinda is good , but as always Old is Gold. I love Lal Chand Yamla Jatt's "tera ni karara" . That song is soooo good.

Here's something to cheer u up. 😴

A man walked into a second storey bar & ordered a drink. The man next to him began a conversation about wind currents in the area.
The first man said he didn't understand what was so special about the wind, so the second man said , " Here, let me demonstrate."
With that, he went to the window , jumped out, did a little spin in midair & came back in. " See how great the currents are? You can do the same thing ."

The bartender looked at the second man & said , " SuPERMAN , you're really mean when you're drunk."

As everyone is disclosing which city they belong to, so here its my lovely, small, grade A city of Punjab......PATIALA.....I am proud of to be Patialvi and of Patilavi turban style.Miss my city and people a lot. Manu De Lassi da koi mukabla nahi. Sheraanwala gate, Barandari, Kila chownk, BYYI no. Phatak, Jaggi sweets, Gopal Sweets, .............and at last but famous all over world is Punjabi Juti.

i did my 10th in 1994 from shcs .after that i went to gnps for 11th and 12th grade.there was only till 10th class when i was in convent .it became senior secondary later on.do u remember sr.marialeena,now she is again the principal there.nice to know u,i still remember those old good days.bye take care

anyway long time nobody has posted sth here so i'll ask all those who got into dental schools to post some tips for the newcomers like their interview experience, any tips for preparations for part 1 part 2, Canadian EE . After all we are one community who always help each other. If those who've got into a dental school don't check SDN any more so I'll ask the rest of us to do so. Whoever has a question about anything, post it here & anyone can try to help.

i think decjunia is right ab helping other fellows, but i believe the only reason people don't come here after geting into school is lack of time.its a totally new system amd envoirnment we have to get adapted to and on top of that schcedule is really busy. anyways, anybody needin any help regarding EE , interviews and admission procedure of canadian schools, u r most welcome to share u'r doubts with me.
