I know this thread is supposed to be tongue-and-cheek, but VA physician jobs are as safe as they come. Moreso than academics, pp, or employed by a health care system. The gov't will not cut docs who treat our veterans. Plus, the VA has a powerful lobby...
I agree, that would be bad optics. They will instead slowly cut/consolidate every resource around and stir up so much drama that no one will want to work there anymore. It will then be your decision to screw veterans over by jumping ship for greener pastures. Greedy doctors and all that.. That is assuming the email responses were acceptable to Elmo. Stage 1 of the en****tification has begun! I guess this is what the idiots, ahem, I mean people wanted. 🤷♂️
