I am think of doing a double minor in biology and chemistry instead of doing one major. I would like to get a more broader education. Has anybody done this? Will dental schools frown upon this?

I would say they probably wouldn't like it too much, although I really have no idea. I've always heard that minors don't matter that much. Personally, I am a biology major and am double minoring in chemistry and studio arts. Why don't you do something like that?

do you not need a MAJOR to graduate though?? unless you get a degree in college studies (yes, i know a guy that really got a degree with that title - LOL. he was there for 7 yrs and 196 hrs!!!)

They don't really care for your major but you have to have one. As for minors, it's probably not a big deal at all. I'm a psychology major with a chemistry and neuroscience double major.
