I'm a Vandy undergrad, so getting their letter could change when I go back to Nashville. And of course I'm at home and my AMCAS address is my school box! Grr.

So I called the Vandy student post office and asked if I had mail.
Guy puts me on hold to check, and comes back speaking in the kind of voice you use when you're about to break bad news to someone and you want to do it as gently as possible. "You don't have anything..." My little hopes get slammed to the floor and stomped on. "Just some letter from the Vanderbilt Medical School Office of Admissions." Me: "That's it! That's it! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!!"
And then I couldn't get through to Admissions to confirm.
🙄 If there's a rejection sitting in my box, I am going to feel like such an idiot.
