Is there anyone out there that can actually say they love working for CVS (as a pharmacist).? I have had a lot of crappy jobs in my life but I have never experienced the type of toxic work environment that CVS promotes. Many of the techs are lazy and illiterate. CVS promotes a work environment where everything is based on speed. You're only as good as how fast you are, that's basically it. CVS continually breaks the law with the pharmacist to tech ratio. My store typically has 5-6 techs with only 1 pharmacist on staff. Pharmacists staring into a computer screen for 14 hours straight, with no break, verifying 400+/day. That can't be good on the eyes. Everyone at CVS just seems completely miserable and everyone seems to hate life: everyone from the store manager, techs, pharmacists, etc. Is this really what community pharmacy is suppossed to be like?
