I applied June 5th, the first day of the online application. I contacted them today and they said it would still be another week or ten days before schools would receive the material. Geez, a three month turn around time...

on a related note, i would sure appreciate it if anyone could post secondary questions from UNE, PCOM, and NYCOM.

I applied online on around the 20th o' June and COMP, AZCOM, TUCOM, and NOVA sent me their 2ndaries in the last 2 weeks, NYCOM sent me a card barely today saying i will be announced if they will interview me; appropriately, I chucked it in the garbage. Im staying westcoast baby!

Hey nmehta...

It is strange you haven't received your secondaries as I applied late June and got most of them as of last week. I think they are on the ways. If not, I'd call aacomas again and ask them why everyone else who sent in the app. later than you already has them. About questions, UNECOM basically asked why do you want to be an osteopath and why they should pick you. PCOM asked the same thing as well as any other experiences or qualities they should know about. Hope that helps, and just curious if your first name is Neha. Sounds like an Indian last name. Anyways, good luck to everyone.

As of yesterday I was told over the phone that they had downloaded all applications entered up to 2 September. Go figure.

Well, as of last thursday, my application was finally sent out to schools, after my applying on June 5th. I asked why it was so late, and they said it was a mistake and that they realized it, and had it rushed to send it out early. I don't know how a three month processing time makes anything early. Anyways, when this process is all done, I will be sure to give them a piece of my mind. To do it now, is like insulting a waitor who will "spit in your food." I hope other people are having better luck, and be sure to call them on a regular basis to make sure things are going as planned.

Hmmm...

If what AACOM told me was true, then it looks like they got some people in there working overtime to catch them up.

Things should really start rolling now.

Continued luck to all.

I applied mid-August and received an informational brochure from Kirksville yesterday. I didn't apply there but they must have gotten my name somehow, so I'm assuming that AACOMAS sent out my application.

Did others receive the Kirksville brochure too?

My application was sent 8/27 electronically. (Yes, I know that is relatively late.) No responses of any kind yet.

I, too, e-sent my ACOMAS app the end of August. I have called them 2 weeks running and they keep saying, "Oh, probably next week", "give it a good 6 weeks". I sent out my AMCAS app at the same time (via snail-mail) and have received secondaries from those schools. Go figure!
