Hi, is anyone applying to or are currently in a DO/ PhD program? If so, can you share your stats and previous research experience. I want to see if I'm a competitive candidate before I apply. Thanks in advance

I would apply if they gave me free tuition for the DO.

I'd be interested in this too! I'm applying to PCOM and I know they have DO/PhD options but I can't find much information.

I'm thinking about DO/MPH... maybe... :prof:

DO/Ph.D. doesn't give you a stipend??

It gives you stipend for the PhD and some will waive 3rd and 4th year medical tuition, but you're still going to pay out of pocket for 1st year, 2nd year and living expenses of 3rd and 4th year. The fact that you're spending extra 3 or 4 years on the PhD means that you'll be accruing interest on your students loans for that amount of time.
