wat r the chances of getting into as an out state student in Idaho state univversity
We have 72 in our class this year and I think about 6 or 7 out of state students... not too many. You have a chance though, especially if your gpa is good. they are planning on 80 seats for this cycle as far as I know.
Pharmacy school at ISU is impossible to get into as out of state resident...UNLESS you have steller grades! 😀...and lots of experience. They love to see that.
Also, I did my undergrad their...pocatello is not where you want to be if you are hoping for a happening college city. :S The only reason I did so well in my undergrad is because I lived there and there was absolutely NOTHING to do 🙂
I am not in the Pharmacy program but I am familiar with the cities.
Pocatello is a smaller (50K populations) city. ISU is based in Pocatello so there are some great university related events.
Meridian is just west of Boise. It is a large city, relatively, with much more shopping, city life, etc than Pocatello. I am not sure about the ISU campus there, but Boise State is closeby with a great football team to support and other events to attend.
Both cities are close to snow skiing, water skiing, hiking, camping, and outdoor opportunities. Pocatello is only a few hours from Yellowstone and Jackson, WY.
Hope that helps.
I got an interview invite today, and I'm from CA. Anybody else get an interview?
