I was just wondering if anyone is attending UNTHSC in July 2012. I got my acceptance call yesterday (whoohoo!), and wanted to know some of my future classmates!

I am on the waiting list there and just trying to see where I stand. What is your GPA and GRE?

Congratulations on your acceptance and wait-listing.
Incidentally I also interviewed there on Feb. 24 with the following stats:
Science GPA 3.90/4.00
Overall GPA 3.50
So far, I have not heard anything as far acceptance or wait-listing. I am curious if they are still admitting students or they're pretty much done.

I interviewed there on the 24th as well. I asked April (one of the two assistants) and she said that as of that day, they had accepted 19 out the 42 spots (I was quite amazed at their selectivity). But April also said that they would call the students whom they want to offer spots because they need to look out for important mail, and those who are wait-listed or declined would receive letters without a call. One last thing, she said that they wait-list about 40 people. I hope that helps.
Very informative. Thank you for the details. Its indeed amazing how selective they are. I'll continue to be hopeful till I hear something from them regarding my interview. Once again congratulations and good luck as you're about to begin your studies there.

I am going to UNTHSC for PT! I was accepted back in March and made the decision this past month. I am moving up there in June 🙂
Hi there, and congrats on your acceptance! I'm hoping to apply this next rotation there, if i may ask, What was your GPA( Pre reqs) and how many shadowing/ volunteer hrs did you have? What would you recommend in order to be competitive there? Thank You for your time =)
