Hello! Yes, I have considered. I have also considered doing it incase I don't get in. Do you know of any 1 year programs? Either way, I want to get my MPH someday.

ASDOH offers a certificate in public health along with your DDS and you have to take a few more online courses to get the masters. Def look into ASDOH if you are considering that option.

I have also considered a MPH as hopefully become a public health dentist one day.

I also have looked at getting my MBA as way to distinguish myself and def open the doors for more opportunties.

Dartmouth has a one year MPH. Most other programs can be done in a year if you have your DDS/DMD or are already in dental school.

I'm applying to a few dental schools that have joint programs. I'm interested in health policy and eventually I'd like to do some consulting work in addition to my dental work. If anyone knows anything about the existing joint programs, please share!
