Anyone do well on or pass Step/COMLEX who had a 498/24 MCAT?

Mcat has no bearing on your board performance
This is absolutely legendary. Also, a 27 isn't even that bad of an MCAT score, just typically not good "enough" for an MD acceptance based on my experiences. Where/what did you match? If you don't mind me asking. Or where do you intend to match? With a 262 Step you have some pretty awesome options in the matching process. Congratulations on your hard work this is truly impressive!

I think I read somewhere that the mcat biology score in particular was most closely correlated with step 1 score. And it's been a while since my mcat days but I'm pretty sure the biology section was the most memorization heavy section of all subjects tested. Step 1 studying really does feel like its all memorization and pattern recognition. Actually, all of med school so far has felt like that.
I've heard this too about MCAT bio. If they said the same thing about CARS i'd be pretty concerned lmao. MCAT CARS is an absolute beast
