This cycle is honestly making me so nervous... It's almost the beginning of February and I've only heard back from two schools. I know some schools have extended their deadlines, but it seems like a lot of them have already filled their seats for the incoming class. Sucks! Holding out hope for the other eight that have yet to respond 🙄

I feel you I’m in the same boat. The only official rejection I got was ucsf which I knew was gonna happen lol. But I know western has their last interview feb 5, and ohio state is also done interviewing

I applied to 8 schools (weak 3.2 gpa, 23AA, hundreds of shadowing) in late June, verified late July after LORs were submitted, and have only heard from two rejections. Also waiting for CA schools, like Western, (am a CA resident), but don't have my hopes up.... Am thinking it's a good idea to reach out to adcoms to ask about how I may improve my application?... but any pointers are much much appreciated. Good luck to us all!

Hello! And thank you! And no I was not waitlisted at midwestern but am at nova. Honestly I think it was the interview that helped me it was very conversational nothing about dentistry came up. Vs in Nova it was very awkward because I had to interview with the assistant dean who sat the whole table away from me cause of covid lol. I’m honestly no expert at this but I would send a letter of intent it doesn’t hurt you!
