Saying that you're on the "alternate" list and they don't know how many "(if any)" were going to be accepted? Is this bad news..? I'm having a hard time interpreting what this could mean...

Where do you live?

although not getting accepted first go around, this is a "good" thing. I believe many people that did get accepted to MWU will sway away from it just because it being a new school. Me for instance will prob turn my offer down and they prob will give it to someone on the alternates list.

ya, hopefully i can get one of your 5 left over acceptances! :meanie:

I straight up got a rejection from them on the 15th. So maybe its good news

I got that alternate list letter today too. 😳

Me too. For those of you who want to get in, and are waitlisted, I think you probably have a good chance of getting in off the waitlist. I think at this point Midwestern might be overestimating how many students would actually pick to go to a new school and underestimating how many acceptances they need to send out to fill their class, or I could be completely wrong.
