I figured I'd beef up my GPA & do a 1-yr Master's. I got in to Barry & will be in the 1-yr accelerated program beginning in August. Anyone else in the same boat? Maybe even share an apartment or townhouse?

I have yet to apply, but I am interested. Has anyone else taken the one year accelerated program before? Is it tough to get good (i.e. A-) grades, especially with the course load? GPA is a big factor for me, so I don't think a master's program that damaged my GPA would be too good.

On another note, has anyone found a similar program in California?

well, Barry's website boasts that people who pass their program have a high chance of acceptance into D or M schools.

The main question I have is whether or nor we should be applying THIS cycle. By the time they do interviews we won't have any grades under our belt. By Dec. 1, we'll be taking finals probably. But if we wait to apply next cycle, we'll have to take 1 yr off. rock & a hard place.

i knooo i so feel what you are saying...however, i just went and applied with whatever i have and put in my application that i will be attending barry...and send each school a copy of the courses you will be taking and the grades ASAP...thats the only option right now...b/c i wanna start D-schoool as soon as im done with Barry
