Just wanted to gauge a response to see how many applicants applied on 6/24 or a little after .... maybe up to end of July, that are still waiting to hear back?

I applied then. Have heard absolutely nothing from several schools (private schools) that have extended interview invites out to other applicants who applied months after I did.

My conclusion: I'm not what they are looking for. It's just how the cycle goes.

Penn - 7/25 - App complete | 9/8 - Under review - No other word
Pitt - 7/13 - App complete and zero word
Tufts - Recieved mid July but 8/22 - App complete and zero word

Heard from (and interviews) at 3 other schools though.
I'm so confused because someone 6/24 got an interview at Mich like last week when a bunch of late July applicants were receiving interviews, so there may or may not be hope for us yet.

I applied on 07/01. The only school I heard back was UTHSCSA. Still waiting for TAMHSC and UTSD. I hope they didn't overlook my app or just skipped it bc of my average status.

Why am I saying this? Because it sounds, based on what you said, the prime time to apply was July and August (not June) and not later. Wonder what everyone else thinks.

Mailed out on 6/24 but my bio prof forgot to sign her LOR. I think everything was fixed by late July. No invites yet (3.97 overall, 3.83 science, 20 AA, 19 TS).

I was skipped over by ALOT of schools. I'm already assuming I am rejected by those schools. Makes me feel better this way than just anxiously waiting for the next several months living in fear.

I applied alot, like 19 haha cus I messed up during undergrad and currently in M.S.

Yes, I am a reapplicant. I have no doubt in the fact that applying early will put applicants in advantage. Not sure what would have happened to me if I applied late. I feel like majority of schools are going in order of application complete date, but some schools are definitely not going in order.

Lol what your friends said is absolute BS. Many many people have schools they haven't heard from with 23+ dats. Schools are looking for people to fit their class profile.

As long as you apply before mid-August/September it doesn't even matter.

I sent everything out mid July and have gotten a few interviews but haven't heard anything from other schools. LECOM took the longest to get one.

Do you mind me asking when you heard from CU? There hasn't been any movement on that forum for like, weeks. I know there are plenty of applicants who aren't on SDN but still, the silence made me wonder if their adcoms is taking a big long break or something.

When I was waiting for interviews last year, all I can think of was that "omg they must have seen my pic and think this one is too ugly to be a dentist" and put my application in the ignore file

But I got interview invite later in October and November for pre-dec. so I'm sure you guys will be fine.

I sent my AADSAS July 1st and have heard back from 3 Schools. Still waiting on 4 of them.
